Supporting Organizations that Serve Diverse Communities

Many consumers have heavily placed expectations on businesses to engage in corporate social responsibility (CSR). In fact, some individuals or groups of persons may entirely cut off any existing or intended relationship with a company that does not engage in these activities. When evaluating Community Engagement (CE) or CSR initiatives, companies often consider associated costs as investments for branding or other purposes. We encourage you to evaluate your CE or CSR work to determine to what level you are currently supporting diverse communities and if there may be opportunities to expand upon this work.

In reviewing the submission, the following queries will be used:

  • Do you support community organizations that serve diverse communities?
  • How do you support these organizations?
  • With what frequency do you support these organizations?
